Great service and good car

Reviewed: Thu, Dec 26, 2019
About Budget: 10.0 /10
The counter staff Alison was very helpful and as all of us were really tired and needed to get our rooms at the earliest, she made the whole process really smooth. The car was great with enough room to take all our luggage. CRITICISM: Can you please specify which fuel the car needs on the keychain. I had to call your US customer service from my UK phone to find out if it was petrol or diesel.

“The car was not in good condition and I was not informed to update the rental contract”
About Budget: 8.0 /10
The brakes were not in good condition, the car kept shaking when we would press the brakes. The key fob battery stopped working and the car wouldn't lock. I was not informed to renew the contract after completion of a month and so had some issues when I tried to call to extend the rental for 4 days. I ended driving 4 hours to the nearest budget to drop off the car because of this.

When I contacted qeeq to extend my car rental they just sent me to budget and did not help

“Plain sailing.”
About Budget: 9.0 /10
We met a helpful rep from Budget who took us through the rental quite quickly, including adding an extra driver. We had booked a large SUV and were pleasantly surprised by how big the vehicle was. Overall the car and the car hire process exceeded our expectations.

All very straight forward. Best price after shopping around. I liked the price drop feature, which saved me an extra €40 after booking.
