Loved the people at Advantage! They were kind enough to offer me a discount! It was my first time ever renting a car and knew how expensive it was going to be for me considering I am under 25 years of age. Thank you everyone at Advantage for really helping me out. You made the experience worthwhile!

Very easy to book. The only thing was I was just confused about the final price. It showed $161 total for the 4 days I rented; and I knew there was going to be a fee of at least $25/day for being under 25 years of age. When Advantage showed me the final bill it came to $579. Maybe just relaying about the price to the guests a little more clearer before you decide to book would be great.

Long wait in location to pick up the car.
Tried to sell me Ezpass or equivalent in which I really did not need.
I think I asked them about it so it may be my fault but if they say you need a more powerful car don't listen to them.
However the actual car I got and the price I paid was amazing and that is what matters the most, car drove well no problem with it whatsoever aka. did not impair my vacation expect the long wait as location.
Also easy drop off and fast shuttle back the airport.

Long line at the pickup counter. Saw a bunch of staff that could have helped but just stood around talking to one another. Everyone in line was commenting on it. Drop-off was fast but when I went inside to catch the shuttle I again saw a long line at the pickup counter with people that looked like they could have helped.
The car reeked of dope when we picked it up, but it was the only one left of the size we reserved so we had to take it. As well, your staff dismissed it as a minor issue when I complained about it. We left the car in the garage of the home we rented for three days with the windows open and it still smelled when we returned it.
One of the brake lights didn’t work from the moment we picked it up. Imagine what would happen if I got stopped by a cop for a bad brake light with a car smelling of dope?
I specifically reserved a ski rack when I reserved the car and my reservation confirmation showed it, but there were none to be had. Caused a headache when we tried to load all of our skis. Actually needed to call a friend to rent another, smaller car to carry the people that were displaced by the skis.
Pickup counter staff tried to up sell me on insurance. It is certainly the prerogative of a business to up sell, but they most definitely didn’t have their facts straight regarding the fact that my own insurance policy will cover any rental vehicle I drive, even if it costs more than one of my own vehicles, so they were misleading and I don’t care for that.
Leaving aside the door smell and brake light, the car ran smoothly and was actually quite nice.
The price for the rental was excellent, but all things considered, it wasn’t good value for my money. I rent at National for business trips and while I would have paid quite a bit more, they would never give a customer a vehicle that smells like that; I rarely wait more than a few minutes in line; their staff are courteous; I’ve always gotten the ski rack when I’ve reserved one.
