The location was convenient. I arrived in San Francisco at night and there weren’t many people. There were only 4 people ahead of me in line.

I originally booked a Mazda 3, but when I got to the airport they didn’t have that model available. Anyone who rents often probably knows that’s pretty standard. They first switched me to a similar-level Chevy SUV, but when I got to the garage that car was still being washed, so they upgraded me again to a VW Atlas SE – a model we don’t get back home. I was planning to drive a light, nimble Japanese car and ended up in a mid-to-full size SUV instead.
