You can walk to the counter of Dollar - Melbourne Airport car rental.

The rental office is located on the ground level of the ParkRoyal Hotel, opposite Terminals T1, T2, and T3, behind the large Melbourne sign. If you arrive at Terminal T4, make your way outside to Terminal T3 to cross the road . Please proceed to the office to complete your rental contract.

Drop-off Instructions

When approaching the airport area, follow the road signs marked "Car Rental Returns." After passing through the center road traffic light, keep right and watch for overhead signs indicating "Car Rental Returns" at the entrance. Enter through the Car Rental Return car park entrance. They told us we needed to refuel within 15 km, so I stopped at a gas station in the city first, but they didn’t have the right fuel. Time was running out so I decided to just return the car and explain. The staff said they could handle the refueling for us. I’d been a bit nervous about it, but their service turned out to be incredibly thoughtful. Thanks to QEEQ for the great experience—will definitely rent again for future trips!
