It was good. We felt pressure to return it clean, but that was ok. Overall it was a good experience

There was a wait for more than an hour at the rental center ..with only one staff attending for a majority of the time. The car was due for an oil change ..the next day after I had parked the car in my driveway it would not start at all ..the car battery totally died ..now how does that happen ..I got the key and locked the car ..shouldn't that have taken care of lights etc ..which btw I didn't even touch ( switch on or something ) and I checked after that the lights turned off after the car was locked ..also budget wanted to charge me like 100 bucks for a jump start request ..I got it done and also came to know the coolant level in the car was like super low ..That car had an issue and I was super inconvenienced for renting it ..only good thing was after several attempts to reach the local office of budget 30 min wait on multiple calls and informing them , they said theyvwould not charge me for the late delivery which. I was able to return the car around 1 hr late

Picked up car in port canaveral budget office. The office was very crowded... it took 55 mins to get through the rental line. Building not fit for purpose and toilet was not fit for use by human or any known living animal. The shuttle service was extremely slow so we had to use uber (Saturday morning... 20usd + tip to go 2 miles). I guess shuttle service is that slow due to the small size of office and it is better to have people line up in cruise terminal than at the office. Staff were very efficient and polite. Car was very clean and met our expectations.

I purchased my own additional insurance cover and explained this to the person at the counter, however they still added $185 worth of insurance I didn't need or ask for. After some time on the phone to customer services on our return home I manged to get them to credit my account.

Everything was great until dropping off the car. Even though I booked to return the car at an airport location, the car could not be dropped at the airport. Had to drive back into town to return the car adding about 45 minutes and a lot of stress. Staff seemed used to it though and got me back to the airport ASAP. I made the flight.
