Always check tire pressure after pickup, you can pump them at any gasoline station. Repsol is my recomendation. Make sure you pay for extended insurance coverage in places like Madeira :)

Everything was fine apart from the miscommunication about the pickup location. We were charged extra for collecting the vehicle at the terminal when it was specified in the hire that we were to pick the vehicle up at the terminal.
