Very convenient. They asked if I wanted to purchase additional insurance, and after I declined, the paperwork was processed immediately. The instructions for car pickup were clear. Returning the car was even simpler—at the drop-off point, staff approached to take the car, performed a quick inspection, and completed the handover. There were still staff available even close to midnight.

This time, I rented a Chrysler Pacifica, a 7-seater MPV. It was spacious, comfortable, and in excellent condition, with only about 8,000 kilometers on it—practically a new car. As long as you're not going off-road, this model is perfect for a 5-person trip. The most outstanding feature is that, even with 5 people on board, it can easily fit 5 large 28-inch suitcases, and possibly even 6. The deposit was refunded 3 days after returning the car. Both pickup and drop-off were simple and smooth—just refuel, do a light cleaning of the interior, and you're good to go. There was staff waiting at the drop-off point, and the process was hassle-free.

The vehicle's compatibility with mobile devices and the connectivity of the associated application were unsatisfactory. Tesla's functionalities are predominantly managed through a mobile device and Avis didn't accept to add me as a driver.

Like: We were upgraded at no charge to a larger vehicle that was very comfortable and easy to drive. We were not charged for picking up in Vancouver and dropping off in Calgary which was appreciated.
