There was one man working, a line of people out the door, and unhappy customers everywhere. The first car they put me in was completely unclean and stank terribly of cigarette smoke. I had to ask for a different car, as I am a singer. They said they only thing left was this crappy Kia that had not been cleaned and had no gas. Because I was in a hurry after waiting an hour, I had to take it. What a mess.....

Overall, it was pretty good. I'm just not sure if they'll find excuses to deduct money later. I didn't buy the collision damage waiver. When I arrived, an elderly lady told me that it's illegal not to buy it in Los Angeles. I directly replied, 'I just want to break the law, is that not allowed?' She was speechless afterward.

Highly satisfied! Hertz service is excellent. The self-service car selection is super convenient; you are given a designated area where you can choose any car. It's safe to say they are among the best rental companies. The full insurance price is reasonable, there is no upselling of other services, and the return process is quick and hassle-free. The use of ezpass its too expensive. I paid 51 bucks for a toll of 16. Even when I not activate ezpass. The car was very good, but not as close as advertised. You gave me a Kia Sorento, when the contract said Nissan Pathfinder.
