Picking up and returning the car was very convenient, and the rental fee wasn't expensive. However, the price for a full tank of gas was ridiculously expensive. In the US, gas prices are usually around $4, with the most expensive being around $5. But ALAMO charged me $6.4 per gallon.

The process at the San Francisco airport branch was quick and straightforward. I booked an RV4 or Ford Escape class vehicle, and the pickup was very flexible—you could choose the car yourself in the garage. I opted for a JEEP, which was actually an upgrade at no extra charge since I had purchased the best insurance. On the third day in San Francisco, my car window was broken, and items were stolen while inside Golden Gate Park. After filing a police report, I contacted the rental company and immediately returned the car without any additional paperwork. The service was prompt and customer-friendly.
