Very bad customer service. Rudeness and don’t care for customers. Two guys didn’t know English and one guy knew English but was so rude and lazy also don’t know what he is doing. Behaving like small kids.

“Old car and long time refund”

It was an old car, I couldn’t even use apple play. The deposit money will be refunded in 20 days which is too long, while other rentals would just take for 5 days.

“Cheap but cheerful, older cars which is reflected in the price.”

Car was great but old and have damage. That was fine since this reflected the prices the car smelt badly of cigarettes and all the electronics inc gps are in Japanese which is completely useless in New Zealand. This was explained to me as they were Japanese imports. Overall a good service, I would use again. But be aware that they hold your deposit for 4 weeks after you return your car for possible fines, tickets, etc which I had never experienced before.

“Friendly helpful team at Great Rentals”
About Great Rentals: 9.6 /10
Like: Excellent value for 2 day rental of a small older car for visiting friends and family in Auckland. Great Rentals site is easy to find using a navigator on vehicle return as it's close to the Southern and South Western motorways.
Dislike: Distance from the airport takes a bit of extra time, but was OK as a compromise for a better priced weekend rental.
