Perfectly smooth. The staff at the Dunedin Airport counter was awaiting my arrival and gave a free additional driver add-on for my partner. The car was mechanically perfect. Do check the condition of the car as they may not report small scratches or dents, etc. so take a photo and email them as evidence so that you won't get penalised when you return it or verify together with one of their staff, just like we did.

Very good and convenient. The pickup and drop-off process is very quick. Thrifty also offers a pre-paid fuel service at a discounted rate. For example, if the local price is 2.55, you can pre-fill it for only 2.00. However, you need to manage the fuel level accurately when returning the car, ideally leaving about 10 liters. Keep in mind that low fuel levels can affect the car's performance.

“Bond unexpected”

Like: Easy to find the store at the airport, easy pick up and drop off. Cool staff
Dislike: I've booked through easy rents with full insurance and thrifty didn't recognize it so we had to pay the bond to not pay the thrifty insurance! Unbelieveble! It was 250$ that we could have used in the trip and also almost the price of the whole rent with insurance. Now I need to wait 2 weeks or more to have my money back which I was planing to use now and I don't have it...
