Friendly approachable

The staff was a bit careless; you need to carefully review the terms yourself. Everything else was fine, but the rental fee for automatic cars is quite high, much more expensive than in the US. Is this the norm in the UK?

We realised that a fiat 500 was too small so had to upgrade to a vw polo which was fine. Pity there was no gps built in but that’s being a bit picky. I used my phone instead.

I wish I’d booked it sooner coz the prices went up and up as the holiday got nearer.

Counter staff excellent! On picking car up we were given an upgrade. No problems throughout the rental period. Felt very reassured by the young man on initial contact at the counter that any concerns/problems would be addressed ASAP, fortunately this was not necessary. Will definitely book europcar again.

Excellent value for money!. We took our motorhome down to Cornwall and unfortunately the car we normally tow had broken down week prior to departure. The car was not totally clean externally and visible defects/damage were not fully or correctly recorded. Upon return I was challenged regards said damage, but I had GPS date and timed photo of damage at the pick up site before setting off. Resulting in an uncomfortable return.

All excellent apart from time waiting for pick up and drop off. Only one staff member on duty each time and they were very good but far too busy and it really needed another staff member to ease waiting times for customers. Otherwise I was very pleased.
