CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON ESSENCE AT ISTANBUL AIRPORT, IST

Upon arrival, the rental company 'essence' was nowhere to be found—it turned out to be HDY Everyday. After searching for quite a while, the instructions on QEEQ were unclear. Getting in and out of the terminal required passing through security checks. The promised pre-authorization was changed to an actual payment, and the rental contract was in Turkish, leaving me with no choice but to sign it. Getting the car involved going to a large parking lot across the street at another rental company, which was not easy. The car itself was in very good condition.

Handled all the paperwork as usual. They did try to upsell insurance, but once I told them I already had full coverage, they backed off and that was it.
After finishing the paperwork, they thoughtfully wrote a little note with directions on how to get to the pickup lot.
The pickup area is huge, but it was easy to find everything once I asked a staff member for directions.

Not bad, it is part of Everyday, a red-branded company.
