You can arrive of ACE Rental Cars - Melbourne - Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

Customers arriving at airport: Call 1800 620 408 (+61 3 9222 2595) to arrange a pickup after collecting your luggage. Vehicle Hire Collection at Melbourne International and Domestic Airport - Exit the terminal building and cross two lanes of traffic until you reach the brown coloured ‘Hotel and Off Airport Parking’ shuttle bus collection lane - Please wait for the courtesy Ace shuttle. You will be transferred to our office for vehicle collection Out of Hours Drop Off: There is a secure drop box available for the car keys to be returned if it is out of hours. Please ensure that the car is re-fuelled and locked in the ACE Melbourne depot before then putting the keys in the lock box. If you are dropping off vehicle out of opening hours you will need to arrange transportation from the ACE depot to Melbourne airport.

There should be a booth at the Arrival Hall to greet and on board customers. Instead customers were expected to know where to go from the terminal and wait for the pickup. And we have to wait 30-45 mins for the pickup bus because it was full.

Car exceeded expectations for price. Was a good quality car in good condition. Airport pick up was very quick, simple and close to terminal exit. We we’re lucky with timing though and prepare to wait up to 20-30 mins if you just miss the bus.

Staff at counter are rude and lack of information. They did not explain most of the thing regarding car rental such as toll payment and other stuff which is not listed in the term and condition section. Staff at counter are representing ACE and I don’t recommend renting from ACE.

The overal process to book, pick up and return the car is smooth. However, it is necessary to call the ACE office to arrange shuttle for picking and unfortunately I called over 10 times for almost an hour before someone can pickup the call.

Ace charged the One way fee although i mentioned to the counter staff that i already paid via Easyrentcars and showed the Booking Slip with One way fees is included. Ace counter staff said EasyRent should not charged us instead Ace suppose to charge the Fee and i have paid without any choice. Now i am disputing with Easyrentcars. They are still on investigation. Already 20days gone , just received email asking for Final Invoice. Ace Cars and time taken to Pick up and Drop Off was Excellent.

The price was excellent the car was excellent. But not pleased with the customer service. On collection we were given no idea where and how to pick up the car,hadn’t been told it was a shuttle. We also due to restrictions had to change where we were returning the car I phoned 4 times and was told we had to speak to the Melbourne office who never answered the phone only on the 4th occasion did one of your staff take the message and said she would confirm that they had received the message and she took my email address . I got no reply. I then sent a email request which took 4 days to get a reply. So what should have been a straightforward message took several weeks to sort which was on my mind in that time so not impressed
