The car choice was very disappointed really the cars where the basic cheap models nothing much in them!! Air con in the one we had was rubbish considering it only had 3500 miles on when we picked it up!! So really time to consider dollar rent a car lot cheaper for the same car we went Alamo because usually they had better spec cars but not this time rubbish really!

On the 1st rental day I got a flat tire and had to exchange vehicle. Was upgraded from a midsize to and SUV free of Charge. Very impressive customer service from Louis and the Alamo team at the airport.

On picking up the car the member of staff at the Alamo counter tried to tell me the car i had booked was too small for myself and my child and would not fit my two cases in the boot, this was not the case at all, the car very comfortably fit all our luggage in and an extra case plus hand luggage on our return to the airport. He also implied I did not have sufficient insurance even though i had booked the top cover that Easyrentcars offered (including road side recovery). I was made to sign paper work whilst the staff member told me to sign my life away. This was most upsetting and he was obviously trying to oversell and rip off a woman travelling alone with a child. absolutely shocking experience. The back seat of the car was soaking wet, though we were told to return the car empty because of this.

All was smooth. I was asked if I wanted an upgrade but I was quoted an upgrade price that was more than my actual booking so I declined. I was signed up for a full to empty fuel package without asking for it. I believe I should have been full to full. This spoilt my overall experience of Alamo.

The whole service was excellent and the car was a great size. The pick up and drop off were super smooth and quick and it couldn’t have been better. There were some bumps and scratches on what was a pretty new car, but we photographed any damage and were in the car within 20 minutes of getting to the collection desk. That included check in and walking to the collection point! Well done Alamo!!

Lincoln Navigator was not available. I was offered GMC Denali which stink with cigarettes, so I had to refuse it. After that I was offered even smaller GMC Yucon, which is pretty much Chevy Tahoe. I was after 16h flights with my tired family standing in 33C heat, so I didn't want to go back to the desk and argue... Overall not happy, as I could get Chevy Tahoe for the 60-70% price of what I had to pay and ended up with a smaller and simpler car that was showing OIL CHANGE every time when started.
