Long wait for car, Bordeaux airport.

Very annoying up-selling of insurances and other services by Gold Car staff at Bordeaux airport.

Car was fine, but staff tried to overcharge on collection and were extremely unhelpful on return refusing to simply sign a note saying all ok having inspected vehicle and agreeing that there was no damage

Checking in a nightmare. Nearly two hours queuing at Bordeaux airport to do check in. Irate customers ended up in aggressive altercation with one of the desk staff, police were called to calm everything down. Our check in lady apologised and was helpful, but overall a ridiculous length of time to pick up a car. Dropping off was easier and customer service pleasant and efficient.

Easy to use

Did not get the car I originally booked and ended up paying a lot more than expected!!

The car was amazing. The staff at the car park were really friendly and helpful too. But the staff at the desk were not so friendly and also a bit of a mess - a long queue formed and we waited almost an hour even though we arrived with just 2 groups in front of us. Also, I would recommend taking photos of the car beforehand. There was a scratch that was not caused by us but had not been recorded. The blame would have been put on us had I not taken a photo that showed it was there before we left.

Everything was so easy and quick! And the auto rebook was really good.
