Já respondi "Além de me darem um carro que me pareceu inferior ao da imagem Ford Focus, o Citroën C3 entregue tinha +/- 80.000 km e tinha varias amolgadelas." Acrescento que o funcionário insistiu muito para fazer seguro quando já tinha um feito por vosso intermédio, alegando que vosso da Axa não era tão bom como o deles em termos de cobertura ,!

“Too much unpleasant surprises. Easy to find location and drop-off”

After waiting in a queue at the counter, they announce additional fees ("premium location' fee, minimum license requirement, e-toll device hire). On top of that, they are trying to push very hard for their overpriced insurance. The vehicle I booked (an Audi Q2) changed to a Wolksvagen Touran (not the same category), and when I asked for time to think, I finally ended up with a Renault Captur. On the positive side, I must say that the deposit charge was returned to me the next day after I dropped it off.

“Everything went fine”

Very slow as they spent considerable time with each customer selling additional insurance . They were relentless about the upsell of insurance..leaving me insecure about what coverage I actually had after purchasing the premium coverage through the booking.

I would have to have been advised that it was a pick up counter and not in the terminal.

Goldcar informed me insurance excess was fixed at €1600 and this could apply even for the smallest of damage. They almost insisted that I take extra insurance for €300+ addition. Hugely disappointing, especially as the car we got had many many scratches and issues that I had to take 12 photos on pick up.

“Goldcar is terrible”

Goldcar is terrible, it will suck money out of you like a hungry leach. Trying to push services to you like crazy, they are obsessed, and if you refuse they will tell you what a terrible decision you are making and that you'll have lots of problems if you don't buy their insurance (blah blah blah) I hated it. I rented over 30 cars, so far, from various companies and always used a third party insurance and never had problems or such a bad customer experiences. Please read online more reviews about gold car and pay better more for a normal company :) The car was good though, no problems with it.
