The hertz desk was busy lots of people collecting vehicles only 2 members of staff dealing with customers. Could have been quicker as a hertz gold member I am used to faster service. They have also made an additional charge of €82.40 which I am currently disputing and require further explanation.

The car meet our expectations but the process to collect car may take up some time

No full check up of vehicle before handover. Car was dirty and full of scratches and delivery person was rude to clean up. Finally with lots of arguments vehicle was changed which was good. Again no time given to inspect vehicle and person on duty was not interested to mark damage. Also he wrongly mark shelf in car which was not there. On returning person mark damage on Tire but same was not ask to check on handing over time. Since full coverage was there which safeguard for charges due to negligence of Hartz team. When we received our paperwork from easyrent it stated that we could collect the vehicle at either the Hertz or Thrifty desk in Palma airport. When iI approached the Thrifty desk the operative Rita advised that I couldnt collect it here (despite wearing Hertz labelled clothing). I showed her the paper work that clearly said that the vehicle could be collected at either Hertz OR Thrifty, be she insisted that because there was a Hertz image on the paper work that the vehicle could only be colelcted at the Hertz desk. This continued for ten minutes of so and she eventually relented but told me in no uncertain terms that they wouldnt normally do this and that they were doing us a favour. I dont know if the paper work or the operative was wrong, either way it added undue stress to the process.
