Picking up the car was really smooth and hassle-free.

Booked a SEAT with automatic transmission but was given a near‑new Jetour with only 3,000 km on it. The specs are decent and it’s fine for low-speed city driving, but once you get on the highway, the dash keeps throwing three different error messages. The bigger issue is the steering – it feels sticky and correcting your direction takes effort, which makes driving pretty tiring. Not sure if this is just this car or a common Chery problem.
On top of that, it’s a fuel car but they set it up like an EV with a column shifter, which is whatever, but they even removed the start/stop button. You can’t just turn the engine on or off independently; the locking is all automatic sensing too – if you’re within about two meters of the car it unlocks itself, which doesn’t feel very secure when you’re outside.
Then there’s the trunk space: it looks bigger than a regular three‑box sedan, but the fixed cargo cover splits the height in two. A 28" suitcase can only just fit flat under the cover, and the depth isn’t enough unless you recline the rear seats a bit. Overall it’s less practical than a Toyota Yaris sedan, where I can easily fit both a 28" and 26" suitcase at the same time.
All in all, the Jetour is not enjoyable to drive. The space isn’t really usable and the handling is worse. Also, parking lot entrances and spaces around here are pretty narrow, so bigger cars are harder to manage.

The staff were really friendly and took the time to carefully explain everything I needed to know about crossing the border.

The lady at the counter in the arrivals hall was really friendly. She explained the pickup location slowly and clearly in English (exit from Door 5 in arrivals, turn right, walk about 200 meters, look for the store logo in the parking lot across the road, then cross over to pick up the car).

The car they gave us was really new, but the tire pressure warning kept coming on. The staff insisted it was fine though.

They didn’t have the car I originally booked, so they gave me a Peugeot 380 wagon instead. The car was almost brand new with just 20,000 km on it. The trunk could easily fit four large suitcases plus a few bags, and it was really nice and easy to drive. The only downside was pickup: the line was super long, with just one staff member handling everything, and we waited ages in the parking garage to get the paperwork done. Returning the car was very quick and smooth.

Great service with a friendly attitude, no hard-selling or hidden charges at all, so the whole experience felt really good.

Picked up the car around 6am and there were plenty of options. They offered three different models to choose from. There wasn’t a Toyota RAV4 available, so I went with a Mitsubishi SUV instead. The car was very new, only a bit over 20,000 km on the clock, and there was absolutely no hard sell on extra insurance the whole time.

The car was pretty much brand new (seven-seater), no issues at all aside from being a bit pricey.

Staff were friendly and they upgraded us to a bigger car, though driving a large vehicle on those narrow French roads was a bit challenging.

Excellent experience overall – pickup and return were super quick and easy, the car was in great shape, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!
