Booked a Jeep Compass specifically to drive up to the observatory (I’d checked it was 4WD). They didn’t end up giving us that car, but luckily their system showed we needed AWD, so they set us up with a Nissan X-Trail instead. It was actually great to drive—proper 4WD, a bit thirsty on fuel, had CarPlay, and the car was pretty new. No hidden or extra charges at all, and both pickup and drop-off were really straightforward. Only downside was there was just one person at the counter.

Service was pretty good. The rental office is right inside the airport, so picking up and returning the car is really convenient, and there were no hidden charges.

The branch was really easy to find and there was no line at all, so picking up the car was super efficient. Just be aware that diesel cars need extra ADblue. We rented two cars and halfway through the trip one of them warned that ADblue was low, so we had to stop at a big gas station and pay to top it up ourselves. We forgot to mention this to the rental company when we returned the car, but we’re going to try emailing them to see if we can get reimbursed.
