Very disappointed in having to pay a £700 deposit

The car requested - Volkswagon - was not available. the options were not great so had no option but to pay a lot more and take another vehicle.

The small car that we hired wasn’t available on arrival. Infact there were no cars available! The next available car was given to someone else who was waiting. We eventually ended up with a large Volvo V40 which was very thirsty on diesel. We hadn’t bargained on this extra expense!

After a long haul overnight flight I was horrified to find almost 20 people in front of me waiting to collect a car. The process took almost 1.5 hours. The staff were polite but there were just 3 people working and a wait of this length was extremely frustrating and totally unacceptable. Poor show and very unprofessional for an international company.
