Long wait to collect car. I booked out of hours as said office was shut but was open but still had to pay a extra €40 to cover out of hours.

Want my money back please. This people are Thieves. Wanted to charge $140 on top of what i hace already paid. Wanted to charge $2000 to my credit card and block it. All this for a 12 hour car rent. Goldcar. Horrible service, tried to take advantage of you. Never use this Rent-a-Car Service. Thieves! I didnt use their service at the end. Went with AVIS. More serious people.

Hello. Im renting another car today with you guys (AVIS) because of the horrible experience i had yesterday with the thieves at GOLDCAR. Rented for $25 a day. GoldCar said i have to pay $150 a day. They blamed on you. Would you please refund the money for the “rental” i didnt do yesterday. (Ref 71452633). Carlos Mora (Confirmation # 16987537) I did not use their service for their awful way to trick people into pay hundreds or thousands for nothing, and they blamed EasyRentCars for all my troubles. The overall experience was positive except when I arrive at the Goldcar counter was pushed to buy another insurance which I did not buy. And the staff said that my insurance isn't good enough so she wanted me to buy another insurance on top of the one that I already have. After me kept saying no to another insurance she blocked my credit card ( which the norm). Also I had to pay €20 of airport fees which I didn't understand why because when I booked online I paid premium to have all taxes included. The staff at the counter was rude and lied to me. She said that the credit card deposit would take a month to return to my bank account but I asked another staff on the drop off and they told me in less than 2 weeks. With Goldcar never again.

Car was a right banger with that many scratches and dents I went back into airport to be shown the paperwork showing all the marks. Got told I needed to pay 8% tax on vehicle and airport tax. Cost me £152 and was told if I didn’t pay that the car hire would be void after 6 hours. So had a choice of either paying it or standing there for 6 hours then not getting car. I have since received £117 back for fuel. When picking up my mother in law asked a few different car hire companies about this tax and they said they had never heard of it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE GOLD CAR.
