The car match my booking. Brand new car is a bonus for me.
Car registration and pickup was fast and efficient. Car drop off was fast and efficient too. Great job by Alamo staff especially Jamie during car return process.

Counter staff very friendly, guy at pick up not as helpful Car had seats facing backwards, which was not on the booking and didn’t suit us with some who get car sick , but he wouldn’t swap cars without wanting to charge us . Car condition was good , but set up not good !
Wonderful staff, so helpful. I was able to pick up my car earlier than anticipated and they couldn't do enough for me. Showed me around the car and explained all the gadgets and familiarised me with the car.
I had to extend my stay and they were so helpful and allowed me to extend my hire without any problems.
The car was an hour late arriving and they offered me a small discount in compensation but I’m not sure they applied it. Friendly customer service. The station is pretty chaotic though.
When returning the car as suggested I made a video of the car condition, but the agent receiving the car got agitated saying that I can’t film on private property, told him I was filming the car as suggested, then switch to I could not record his voice, but did not shut up, so how am I supposed to record the car conditions if the employee does not shut up or let you do it ???

Didn’t get the car we’d paid more to get & tried to give us a smaller car that wouldn’t have worked for us . Didn’t advise us of the £15 ( $30 AUD !)London congestion fee at both pick up & drop off and couldn’t really say where that as well as the low & ultra low emission zones were .
The staff is very responsive and nice, and the picking and return process are very smooth.
They can allow us to pick the more suitable one for my family at spot.

Where the staff were fantastic the vehicle was not of the correct size of the booking amd nothing else was available due to the short notice of the booking

The car was lovely and the staff were really helpful at Exeter - making sure I was familiar with the key features. They advised where I can drop off at Heathrow and went through the 'paperwork' on the iPad. I didn't like the £2,000 excess on insurance which I was offered on the spot to take there and then - as the cost was almost as much as the daily hire cost - but waived it. That made the experience much more stressful - particularly in London - and I was grateful to drop the car back without a hitch.

The platform was brilliant and I got a very good price - which I was delighted with. I was taking my parents up to London from Dartmouth (83 and 85) and they very much enjoyed it. We came back in my car - which is lovely but not quite as lovely as the car we hired :)
